Before handling area must be sealed (tightly closed windows, doors, vents), and ventilation must be turned off.
The preparation is used by cold mist sprayers, providing creation of persistant mist with effective particle radius of 0.5 – 20 microns. When using several sprayers they must be placed in a staggered pattern. Wet process must provide the most rapid and homogeneous distribution of the aerosol. Prophylactic treatment is carried out on objects that are highly vulnerable for infection diseases, from the first days of animal existence or in 6-10 days before the predicted disease occurrence or when the disease symptoms are seen. Aerosol prophylactic treatment lasts 8-10 times with an interval of 2-3 days between handling.
With the treatment-and-prophylactic purpose a 10-12 aerosol handling must be made, in four cycles; each cycle lasts in 2-3 days, and interval between cycles is 2-3 days.
For eggs of layers is necessary to apply a two-timed pre-incubation disinfection with “Iodezol” in concentration 1.4 – 1.5 g / CBM just before their laying in egg-storage and after-laying for further incubation. That allows to increase period of keeping eggs for 1-2 days longer compared to normal period. Disinfection quality control of a white egg is indicated by the brown color, that involved by iodine on the egg shell.

The way of treatment can be as aerosol, or by dipping in liquid container. Handling must be made after each milking.
5.2 DOSAGES AND METHODS OF DISINFECTION
For aerosol handling a 50% aqueous solution must be prepared. For this purpose in glass, plastic or enameled container is filled with preliminary weighted preparation with further adding into it a pure water that is equal to the mass of preparation. Water is added gradually, with well-mixing. The temperature of water and “Iodezol” should be in the range 16-30 °C. The spray must be placed on a layout according to the following standards:
1. The dose that is sprayed on 1 CBM is 0,7-1,2 ml
2. Duration of spraying is 5-10 minutes
3. Exposure is 20 min
